Man stabbed to death in Haryana’s Karnal

On Saturday, police said a man was stabbed to death by a group of eight people after he tried to intervene in a fight between his brother-in-law and neighbors in Taraori’s Karnal town.

The deceased was identified as Sunny Kumar, who worked as an auto driver.

The victim’s younger brother, Prince, said Kumar’s brother-in-law, Sunil, ran to their house to inform them about the fight and seek help. “Both Sunil and Sunny went to Sunil’s house in Takhana village where several men stabbed Sunny with knives. We took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” he told the police.

Police said a case was registered against eight men at Taraori police station.
