Wilmington police are investigating the death of an injured man following a welfare check

Wilmington police say they are investigating the death of an unresponsive 30-year-old man.

Police said they responded to a welfare check at 11:24 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at 1900 W. Fourth St., where they found an unresponsive man with a laceration to his arm.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died.

Wilmington police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or delawarecrimestoppers.org.
