Daphne man allegedly admits to possessing child sexual abuse material

DAPHNE, Alabama (WALA) – A 24-year-old Daphne man admitted to possessing child sexual abuse materials during an interview that resulted in his charges and arrest, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

Forrest Sanford, 24, was charged with possession of child pornography.

Officials say a search warrant was executed at the home of 24-year-old Forrest Sanford. Investigators believed Sanford was in possession of child pornography.

BCSO alleges that during the interview, Sanford stated that he was in possession of child sexual abuse material and that he posed as minor children in order to obtain obscene content to satisfy his sexual needs.

Sanford was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. He was released on $15,000 bail Friday, according to Baldwin County Jail records.
