Terrorist attack in Srinagar: Terrorists throw bombs at tourist center at Sunday market, 6 people injured

At least six people were injured in a terrorist attack at a Sunday market in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

The attack, which took place near the heavily guarded Tourist Reception Center (TRC), came a day after Pakistan’s top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander was eliminated by security forces in Khanyar town in central Srinagar.

Police and paramilitary forces immediately reached the spot to evacuate the injured and launch a search to track down the terrorists, officials said.

The explosion caused panic in the area and forced shoppers to seek shelter.
