Teenager killed, another injured after fight that ended with shooting in Chester Park: police

CHESTER, Pennsylvania – A large brawl at a local park ended tragically when police say an 18-year-old was shot and killed Friday night.

Officers arrived to find a fight breaking out in Memorial Park on 7th Street in Chester before gunfire erupted among the crowd.

One of the victims, identified as 18-year-old Montera Wilson, was struck in the back and taken to a local hospital, where she died of her injuries.

The second victim, a 17-year-old man, was shot in the leg. His condition was said to be stable.

Chester police are asking witnesses to come forward as the investigation continues.

“Given the time and location of the incident, I know there were several people in the area who witnessed this homicide.”
