Mobile police say two men were injured in separate shootings

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) – The Mobil Police Department is investigating two shootings that injured two men in separate incidents.

The first one occurred on Friday evening.

Officers responded to the Fulton Grocery at 1288 Dauphin Island Parkway on Friday around 10:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Responding officers found the victim had been taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound, MPD said.

There is no information about the victim’s condition.

The second incident occurred early this morning at 2300 Costarides Street.

Officers received a call around 12:30 a.m. today and found the victim had life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
