A second man charged in connection with Kilwinning’s death was found injured outside the house

Scottish police have charged a second person in connection with this with the death of an injured man found outside his home in Kilwinning.

Emergency services were called to Pollock Crescent at around 1.55pm on October 18 after receiving reports of an injured man.

John Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators confirmed that they were treating the 44-year-old’s death as a murder.

Kiey O’Connor appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday in connection with Taylor’s death.

The 26-year-old was charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

The officers have already charged a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident. Officers have already arrested a 53-year-old man, but he has been released pending further investigation.

The death investigation is still ongoing.

Detectives have set up a website that gives members of the public access to a form to submit information directly to the main investigation team, which can be submitted anonymously.
