DeForest Buckner is questionable; Jonathan Taylor has no injury tag

Colts defensive back DeForest Buckner appears to be on track to play on Sunday, even though he did not practice on Friday.

The team considers him questionable, but Buckner had limited practice on Wednesday, a full practice on Thursday and missed Friday’s practice for a load management day that was unrelated to the injury.

The Colts will have to activate him from injured reserve on Saturday to play against the Texans.

Running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) completed another full practice and no injuries were reported.

The Colts ruled out linebacker Genard Avery (foot) and defensive lineman Jaylon Carlies (fibula, shoulder).

Linebacker Cameron McGrone (elbow) is questionable, but completed a full practice on Friday.
