In a video obtained by TMZGomez was seen standing at a podium on stage as she shouted to Didi Hirsch’s mental health care (DHMS), suicide prevention center.

“They have been committed to young people’s mental health, from suicide prevention training in schools, to drop-in centers in Los Angeles, to Teen Line,” Gomez said on Thursday (October 24) evening at Nya Studios in Los Angeles in California. “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with such incredible changemakers.”

However, the Disney Channel alum made a faux pas by bringing the DHMS executive director on stage by saying “Diddy” instead of the center’s name, pronounced “dee-dee.”

According to the clip, the crowd erupted in laughter after Gomez’s snafu. The “Wolves” singer smiled after the misfortune and told the crowd, “I’m really sorry.”

In September, federal agents arrested Sean “Diddy” Combs charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The disgraced music mogul, who still pleads not guilty to the charges against him, remains in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He is held without bail awaiting trial, which is scheduled to begin in May next year.

Since then, the rapper has been under attack waves of processes from numerous plaintiffs accusing him of sexual assault. The latest accusation comes from a woman who claims Combs attacked her during an MTV Video Music Awards after-party when she was 13 years old.

Combs’ lawyers continue to deny all accusations against the rapper, calling him “an innocent man who has nothing to hide.”

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, his legal defense and the fairness of the judicial process,” his team said in a statement. “The truth will prevail in court that Mr. Combs has never committed sexual assault – or a person adult or minor, male or female.”
