New Jersey man arrested for having sex with teenager – NBC10 Philadelphia

A New Jersey man who co-owns a gymnastics and tumbling center was reportedly arrested last weekend after allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl. Galloway Township Police Department.

Officers received a report of an adult male, identified as Matthew A. Shriver, having sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Police said investigators found evidence on the cell phone that corroborated the victim’s testimony. The discovery led to a search of the 51-year-old’s cell phone, personal vehicle and place of business. Everest Gymnastics and Tumbling Center in the borough of Galloway.

Officials said more evidence was found after the search.

Shriver, of Brigantine, was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault involving the welfare of a child and other related charges.

He was taken to the Atlantic County Criminal Justice Center and will remain there until his first hearing.

Everest Gymnastics and Tumbling Center they posted on their Facebook to warn his community that Shriver no longer works there. The post also said he would not have access to the facility.

The post went on to say that Jennifer Jones is the “sole owner” of the gym and that other employees are “only concerned with the best interests of the children.”
