Diddy will appear without shackles as the fight to break out of a Brooklyn prison continues

NEW YORKSean “Diddy” Combs will appear in court today without shackles as he seeks to be released on $50 million bail for the third time trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Combs’ legal team is urging him to appear for future court hearings without shackles and is seeking a bail package similar to his ex’s Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Michael Jeffrieswho was released on $10 million bail with conditions of home confinement and electronic monitoring.

Diddy is scheduled to be back in court today around 2 p.m.

The outcome of today’s hearing could influence Diddy significantly future while awaiting trial.

The proposed deal for Combs would include house arrest, 24-hour security and no contact with alleged victims or witnesses.

The legal battle escalated after federal authorities searched Combs’ cell in October by the DEA, FBI and other agencies, which his lawyers said violated his Fourth Amendment rights.

Diddy’s prison cell robbery

His lawyers accuse federal prosecutors of editing the video to misrepresent it attacked Cassie Ventura and claims that agents illegally seized privileged materials from his Brooklyn prison cell that should have been protected by attorney-client privilege.

They claim the raid, ostensibly to seize drugs and weapons, was actually a cover to check personal legal notes. Prosecutors admitted taking photos of 19 pages of the notes, but a judge ruled they should be deleted.

When will Diddy be released?

Two judges said releasing Combs would pose a danger to the community.

A $50 million bail offer, including house arrest and electronic monitoring, was rejected at a bail hearing last month over concerns that Combs could interfere with witnesses and obstruct the investigation.

In a breathtaking three-count indictment, Diddy is accused of running an enterprise to fulfill his sexual desires.

Beginning around 2008, he allegedly attacked women for years by punching, punching, dragging, throwing objects and kicking them.

The indictment alleges that he operated as part of “The Combs Enterprise,” which includes Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, dealing with individuals and conducting activities affecting interstate and foreign commerce.

It’s also details Diddy’s “Freak Off” parties where he and his associates allegedly lured female victims and then forced them to perform sexual acts with commercial prostitutes.

Diddy faces racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation charges for prostitution.

Diddy (55) also has faces potential litigation in several civil trials and one criminal trial.
