RFK Jr. reveals ‘secret’ on 61st anniversary of JFK assassination

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared a photo on X former President John F. Kennedy on the 61st anniversary of the attack and a mysterious message suggesting that the government is concealing the truth about his uncle’s death.

“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society,” Kennedy wrote, along with a photo of him as a toddler with the former president.

Kennedy has long accused the federal government of involvement in his uncle’s murder and has repeatedly called on the government to declassify thousands of documents produced during the investigation into his murder. The federal government released millions of pages of documents related to the 2017 murder investigation.

However, approximately 500 pages of documents were completely classified.

During his re-election campaign, President-elect Donald Trump promised to release the remaining documents. He had promised to do so earlier in 2017, but reneged on that promise after hearing calls from the FBI and CIA that declassifying certain documents posed a national security risk.

Since Kennedy became Trump’s nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services, the pair have grown closer, likely prompting Trump to follow through on his promise to release the remaining documents.

The Warren Commission, established by President Lyndon Johnson a year after the assassination, concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald had acted alone.

However, conspiracy theories have long circulated that another person was involved, that the CIA was behind the 35th president’s death, and countless other variants.

Kennedy himself is skeptical of the Warren Commission’s findings and has stated that the CIA was involved.

“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his murder,” Kennedy said last year in an interview with John Catsimatidis on New York radio station WABC 770. “I think there is no doubt about it at this point.”

Kennedy suggested that the CIA’s motivation for killing his uncle was his refusal to engage in the war with Vietnam.

“He refused,” Kennedy said. “He said it was the job of the American presidency to keep the nation out of war.”

Kennedy recalled that his father, former senator Robert F. Kennedy, called the CIA to ask if it was behind his brother’s death.
