Why we’re writing a love letter to Wolverhampton and how you can get involved

This area is not only known for its metal production and coal mining history, especially from the late 18th century. He is also recognized for hosting celebrity acts at City Hall, parks and brewing his own beers.

Wolverhampton is also home to University of Wolverhampton – through courses that prepare the way for the next generations of teachers, filmmakers and health care workers to enter the industry. They even have their own special effects studio for aspiring animators to participate in!

The city is well connected to other towns in the West Midlands as trams provide direct access to the bustling city Birmingham city center.

However, if you prefer silence in the countryside – it is also easily accessible. Why not take a walk along the canals or visit some of our nature reserves such as Smestow Valley or Pendeford Mill?

Whatever it is that makes you happy about the area, we’d love to hear about it! To share your recommendations, email [email protected]
