Richland One school bus crash, students are under emergency medical care

According to the Columbia Police Department (CPD), one school bus was involved in a crash on Monday morning, South Carolina (WIS) – Richland County School District.

Authorities said the crash occurred at the intersection of Garners Ferry and Veterans Road. CPD reported that in addition to the school bus, a passenger car was also involved in the accident.

According to officials, the driver of the car was taken to the hospital and the students on the bus are currently being assessed by an emergency medical team. School authorities are at the scene of the accident.

So far, no information has been provided about the identity of the people involved or the causes of the disaster.
