One person dead in Chandler trapping incident

CHANDLER, Texas (KLTV) – One person is dead after a Monday evening crash in Chandler.

According to Chandler VFD, emergency services were dispatched to SH 31 around 8:03 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, they found a serious two-vehicle accident with people trapped. According to the department, the trapped passenger was pronounced dead at the scene after recovery.

Chandler Chief 1, engines one and three, and a total of six Chandler VFD personnel responded to the scene along with UT Health EMS.

The passengers in the second vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
