Police activity reported at Prince George’s County mall; 2 schools closed

Two schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are on lockdown Tuesday morning after officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) responded to an incident that occurred at a nearby shopping mall.

Police said Crossland High School and Thurgood G. Marshall Middle School in Temple Hills were on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.
