Fossil Ridge High School student charged with bringing a gun to school

FORT WORTH, Texas – Police confiscated a gun from a Fossil Ridge High School student.

Keller Independent School District confirmed the incident occurred Monday afternoon at the north Fort Worth school.

Another student reported a possible firearm on campus, prompting a police investigation.

The students were placed in “classroom detention” while officers searched for weapons.

They confiscated it from the student and took him into custody.

No details were provided about this student or the charges he may face.

Keller ISD said the suspension has been lifted and classes have returned to normal.

No one was injured.
