Harris delivers his closing remarks to voters on the National Mall

(NewsNation) — Vice President Kamala Harris he delivered it final message campaign, asking Americans to “turn the page” on the era former president Donald Trump.

Her appearance on the National Mall was the culmination of the message she delivered during her campaign. She made this argument to voters, focusing on GOP voters who are hesitant to vote for Trump and Trump supporters. former UN ambassador Nikki Haley who are not sure how to vote.

“My presidency will be different because the challenges we face will be different,” Harris told the crowd, pledging to work with Democrats, Republicans and independents to improve the lives of Americans.

“I commit to finding common ground and common-sense solutions to make your lives better,” she added.

The event was held at a strategic location in front of the White House for two reasons.

When will we know the results of the presidential elections?

One is to paint a picture of choice before the American people.

The second recalls 2021, when her speech was delivered in the same place where Trump spoke his supporters January 6, 2021just before the Capitol riot.

The latest poll from Decydent Desk shows that the race is still neck and neck. As of Tuesday morning, Harris had a 0.8% lead based on 305 polls. Yesterday, Harris was at 48.5% and Trump was at 48%, which was still within the margin of error.

Some Democratic lawmakers and strategists expressed concern that Harris was focusing so much on Trump, distracting from other important campaign issues such as the economy, immigration, health care and abortion.

A pro-Harris super PAC called Future Forward warned that attacking Trump’s character or toughness is less effective than Harris emphasizing his own policy proposals.

Voters also said they wanted to hear more about her specific policy plans. Others said they didn’t like the fear-mongering and felt it contrasted with her vision of a positive, bright view of America.

However, according to the campaign, Harris chose to deliver her closing argument on the National Mall to highlight the stark contrast between her and her opponent.

“I have lived the promise of America and I see it in all of you,” she said during Tuesday’s speech.
