Company employee Shou Suga Ban’s house discovered Khorramdel–Rosas’ body in one of the thirteen guest studios around 12:30 p.m., prompting Southampton Municipal Police to call the location at 337 Montauk Highway.

Investigators found that the artist was, among others, victim of violence.

Each 400-square-foot studio sleeps two and features a king- or queen-size bed, luxury soaking tub, modern gas fireplace, and Sangre de Fruta organic amenities. According to their website, each studio has a separate entrance and garden patio, although connected by a structure, it is surrounded by lush grass, providing additional privacy and tranquility.

She announced the tragic death of her family in a statement she received NBC4.

“As the oldest of three daughters, Sabina brought excitement, adventure, joy and love to our family,” we read in the statement. “We are devastated by this senseless loss and ask for privacy at this extremely difficult time.”

They continued: “Your support during this difficult time is a testament to how special Sabina was and will remain.”

Newsweek contacted the Suffolk County Police Department, who said they had no further information at this time.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the Homicide Unit at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. They will ensure the confidentiality of all conversations.

Who was Sabina Khorramdel-Rosas?

Artist Sabina Khorramdel–Rosas, born in 1991, divided her time between Dushanbe and New Yorkdrawing on his sound art experience from SUNY’s Buy College. According to her website, inspired by the sound meditations of Pauline Oliveros, Khorramdel-Rosas developed a deep listening practice that led her to create intuitive drawings with closed eyes, going beyond analytical thinking and channeling inner energy.

Khorramdel–Rosas’ work integrated dreams and meditation visionsexamining mythologies and archetypes to discover their encoded messages. Each track reflected a journey paying homage to local spirits and connecting with the collective subconscious. A process she described as an “ambassador of belonging.”

In 2023, she co-founded Ruyò Journal to eveve Central Asian culture conversations. Thanks to Ruyò, Khorramdel–Rosas reconnected with her roots, creating a basis for discovering the harmony between the inner and outer worlds.

Khorramdel–Rosas recently turned 33 and stated, “I can’t help but chuckle at the thought that the age of 33 is often associated with the age of Jesus when he made his ultimate sacrifice. Although I’m not planning anything dramatic, I consider this year a turning point in my life.

According to A GoFundMe created by the artist, she planned to go to Portugal in November to take part in her first-ever artist residency.

“This experience will allow me to create new work in a beautiful, inspiring environment. I will also launch a website for artists to create the perfect digital space to showcase my art,” wrote Khorramdel-Rosas.
