Coroner identifies 23-year-old man who was fatally shot at Sheetz on Christmas Eve

The services provided the man’s name killed Christmas Eve during the York County Sheetz shooting.

Tivory Bartlett, 23, of Douglassville died later Dec. 24 suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the Sheetz parking lot on North George Street in East Manchester Township, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. Douglassville is about 80 minutes northeast of where the shooting occurred.

According to Chief Tim Damon of the York County Regional Police Department, Bartlett was targeted by multiple attackers around 5 p.m.

Damon would not detail how police determined that or what connection the victim might have had to the shooter or shooters.

As far as we know, the suspects “don’t commit crimes randomly,” Damon said.

No arrests have been made yet.

Police say they believe the victim was alone in Sheetz, Damon said, but detectives are currently working on multiple witnesses.

According to Pam Gay, York County coroner, Bartlett’s death is the 12th homicide this year, including five in the city and seven in the rest of the county.
