Teenager accused of using bear spray on city bus: Regina police

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated assault after being sprayed with bear spray Regina city bus.

The incident occurred on Christmas Eve just before 7 p.m

Police were called to the area of ​​Broad Street and 12th Avenue after a report that a group of youths had boarded a city bus and allegedly sprayed what appeared to be bear spray.

The police and an ambulance arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance to the injured passengers.

Police found one youth who matched the suspect’s description. During a search, he was found in possession of a container of bear spray and arrested.

The youth, who cannot be named under the Juvenile Justice Act, made his first court appearance on Thursday morning.
