Chicago crime: Chevy Equinox driver wanted in Edgewater hit-and-run after man injured at Broadway and Elmdale, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — According to the police, a man is in critical condition following a hit-and-run that occurred on the north side of Chicago.

The crime occurred Saturday around 5:43 p.m. at Broadway and Elmdale Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood.

Police said a 90-year-old man was crossing the street when he was hit by the driver of a gray or silver Chevy Equinox SUV.

Chicago police said the vehicle had a pink breast cancer ribbon on the rear and temporary Illinois license plate number 313AC082.
