Oklahoma school principal cites Harris’ ‘mass chaos’ in demanding more than 4 million

Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters argued the vice president Kamala Harrisfrontier leadership lifted the burden illegal immigration to school districts.

Walters has asked the Biden-Harris administration for reimbursement over $474 million to Oklahoma schools for the “financial impact incurred by Oklahoma taxpayers for the education of children of illegal immigrants. The letter, released Tuesday, comes as Walters labeled Harris the “number one threat to parents and children” in the United States.

“This open border policy has cost our state $474 million to educate the children of illegal immigrants,” Walters said on Fox News Fox and friendS First. “Fentanyl is seeping into our schools, and a terrorist we encountered as part of our open borders policy was even arrested in one of our schools. Its open border is causing mass chaos in our schools, in our economy and in our society. We never had problems like this under President Trump. We have never had problems like this in our schools and society. We had a closed border, safer schools, a secure border. This is absolutely essential for her administration to be held accountable. The border czar let us down.

Walters’ comments about Harris as a “border czar” come after the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a messaging bill in July condemning both the vice president and the Biden administration border security services. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), former president Donald Trump A running mate from 2024 has he tried to present himself as the new border tsar whether he and Trump will win.

Oklahoma’s superintendent explained that the federal government requires school districts to educate every child who will attend their school, regardless of whether he or she is a legal immigrant or not. As a result, schools are required to “rapidly” allocate funds originally intended for students already enrolled, with one district receiving up to “100 a week” of illegal immigrants entering its district.

“All the resources that were there, prepared for our students in Oklahoma, are now being given to undocumented immigrant students,” Walters said.

The superintendent’s letter is not Walters’ first conflict with the Biden administration, as directed all local school districts not to comply with this provision with prescription by the administration Title IX because it puts “women at risk.” He too demanded a “complete overhaul” of the Oklahoma school curriculum in order to “inspire students with a love of country and a proper understanding of the American founding.”

Illegal immigration has been a major issue ahead of the 2024 presidential election, including the ability of non-residents of the United States to vote. The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Wednesday to allow Virginia to carry out cleanse approximately 1,600 people from the voter rolls to prevent ineligible foreigners from voting, Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R-VA) decision was hailed as “a victory for common sense and election integrity.”
