Akua Donkor: Presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party dies at Ridge Hospital at the age of 72

Akua Donkor, founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has died at Ridge Hospital. Accra on the evening of Monday, October 28.

AND family The source was the first to confirm the death of the GFP leader on Tuesday, October 29.

This was reported in Citi News that the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

Donkor was supposed to do this her fourth attempt will become the president of Ghana in the 2024 elections. She especially dancing with a broad smile after turning in her forms to the Electoral Commission on her way to being approved as a candidate.

Donkor’s candidate was Kwabena Agyekum Appiah Kubi, popularly known as “Roman Fada”.

“She wasn’t feeling well for the last few days, so on Saturday we sent her to the Nsawam Government Hospital,” Kubi told 3 News after her death.

Donkor, having participated in the two previous elections, was on the list of the third candidate in the presidential elections in 2024.

The late GFP leader began her political career when she was elected as Herman’s MP.

Her first presidential run was in 2012, when she ran as an independent candidate.

Look for a ceremonial husband

Before her death, Donkor suggested her need ceremonial husband increase his presidential aspirations.

She said it was her husband died recently and it was time for her to buy a new one because it was hard for her to live without a man.

Donkor, however, said she predicted an even more difficult period when an active political campaign begins this year.

Akua Donkor said that she cursed Mahama

YEN.com.gh reported that Akua Donkor had made a statement stating that John Mahama would not be president again.

According to her, she cursed the NDC standard-bearer with the party. She revealed that her curse was because the NDC flag bearer showed signs of ingratitude.
