Brett Favre sharply criticizes Biden and Harris in comments at Trump rally in Green Bay

When Brett Favre took the stage at former President Donald Trump’s rally Wednesday night outside Green Bay, the Hall of Fame members were:Packers The quarterback caught the attention of excited fans and took a swipe at Trump’s opponent in next week’s election.

“It’s an honor to come back here where it all started with the campaign with the next president of the United States, Donald J. Trump,” he told the crowd at the Resch Center in the Green Bay suburb of Ashwaubenon.

The rally took place less than a week before Tuesday’s election, in which Trump will face Vice President Kamala Harris.

Candidates and their campaigns are crossing this critical swing state in the final days before the election Harris is also organizing a rally Wednesday night in Madison.

Favre compared the Packers to the Trump organization, saying they are both winners.

And he hit President Joe Biden comments in which he seemed to allude Trumptheir followers as “garbage” when addressing offensive comments comedian Tony Hinchcliffe performed at a Trump rally on Sunday. Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Biden and the White House quickly sought to clarify that Biden was referring specifically to Hinchcliffe.

But Favre told supporters Wednesday that Biden’s message was “we are trash.”

“I can assure you we are not trash,” Favre said. “How dare he say that? Looking out the window, I see policemen, teachers, nurses, grandparents, students. I see everyday Americans who make this country great.”

He said he was getting involved in the issue because of the high stakes of Tuesday’s election.

Favre also slammed Harris, saying it would be “insane to give Kamala another four years in office.”

“It’s time to put Kamala on the bench and put a star playmaker on the field,” he said.

When Trump took the stage, he praised Favre as a “true” leader and praised the former football player’s handshake strength.

– Man, does he have an arm, you know? Trump said. “This guy shook my hand, his fingers are like sausages. No wonder he can throw the ball so hard.”

Trump also commented on the “bigger” applause Favre received compared to Trump.

Favre played 20 years in the NFL, starting his career with the Atlanta Falcons before being traded to the Packers in his second year, which changed the course of the organization. He became the first player in NFL history to win three straight MVP awards and turned the Packers into a perennial contender. Favre led Green Bay to a Super Bowl title after the 1996 season, its first in 35 years, and another Super Bowl appearance in 1997.

The Packers traded him to the New York Jets after he retired in 2008. He spent one season there and then played the final two years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings.

Favre, 55, last month he announced that he had been diagnosed with the disease with Parkinson’s disease, A movement disorders affecting the nervous system.

He announced the diagnosis during his testimony at ul Congress committee meeting regarding the misuse of federal funds to provide temporary assistance to needy families in Mississippi.

Favre is from Mississippi embroiled in scandal but he was not charged with a crime. He denied any irregularities.
