One in critical condition after motorcyclist hit pedestrian in Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – One person is in critical condition after a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian Wednesday evening in Stamford.

Police say units responded to the intersection of Atlantic Street and Tresser Boulevard around 7:41 p.m. in reference to a crash.

The motorcycle was traveling westbound on Tresser Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian on the west side of the intersection.

The motorcycle driver, a 28-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition is listed as serious.

The pedestrian, a 24-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and his condition is said to be critical.

The investigation is active.
