Uber Eats driver accused of snacking on customer’s food and spitting in his face when confronted: police

Uber Eats driver in Florida allegedly caught picking at a customer’s order – in their presence – which led to the driver spitting in the customer’s face.

According to a statement obtained by the Fox News affiliate, NOV 13Alexsandra Del Valle Acosta Aguilar, 29, was spotted on September 12 by an unidentified customer “selecting food from an ordered bag” outside the customer’s home in Davenport, Florida.

According to the documents, an unidentified woman in the house noticed the Uber Eat driver and went to confront her.

As she approached the entrance of the house, the woman noticed Aguilar holding a sign that read, “Happy Holidays.” According to her, when the victim grabbed the sign, they started arguing and Del Valle Acosta Aguilar spat in her face.

According to police, who say Alexsandra Del Valle Acosta Aguilar was charged with burglary with assault and theft from a home, she admitted that she delivered the order to the address. (Polk County Sheriff’s Office)

After spitting, the victim stated that he covered himself with a sign and moved away from Aguilar.

Aguilar’s alleged spree isn’t over yet, and an Uber Eats driver reportedly stole two dishes worth $75 decorative pumpkins before departure.

The statement said investigators traced Aguilar to her home in Florida Winter Gardenwhere, according to them, she admitted to delivering the parcel to the victim’s address.

According to the documents, the victim stated that she was unable to select Del Valle Acosta Aguilar from the photo package due to a brain injury that affected her ability to remember.

However, the victim described the suspect as a medium build Latina female in her late twenties to early thirties with long black hair, which matched the suspect’s description.

Investigators arrested Aguilar based on the victim’s statement, the suspect’s statement and Uber Eats data.

Aguilar was charged with burglary with assault and theft from a residence.
