A Dhaka court today (October 31) imposed travel ban on former Dhaka-18 legislator Mohammad Habib Hasan, former Bogura-3 legislator Md Nurul Islam Talukder, managing director of Union Bank PLC ABM Mokammel Haque Chowdhury and former tax commissioner Ranjit Kumar Talukder in allegations related to bribery.

Dhaka District Court Acting Judge Ibrahim Miah issued separate orders, taking into account the allegations of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC deputy director Md Masudur Rahman filed the charges and prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir took them to court.
