Two drivers shot in the face with pellet gun in Guelph: police


Guelph police are searching for a suspect after two drivers say they were shot in the face with pellets.

Guelph police say two women were shot while driving in the area of ​​Woodlawn Road East near Riverside Park on Wednesday around 7:30 p.m.

Both drivers testified that they were driving with their windows down when they heard several shots. One of the women said she was hit on the right side of the head, the other on the cheek. A man, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was also hit in the ear.

Someone in one of the vehicles told police they saw a man hiding behind a lamp post. They jumped out of the vehicle and tried to chase the suspect, but he fled into Riverside Park.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing black. They believe he was about 15 years old.
