The truck driver “luckily” avoided the accident with minor injuries

According to firefighters, the driver of an articulated truck that collided with a tree in Cornwall escaped the wreck with minor injuries.

The twisted remains of the cabin show the effects of a collision with a tree on the A395 near Launceston.

Launceston Fire Brigade, which received reports of the crash at around 11:30 a.m. GMT, said the crash caused “significant damage and extensive debris to the road.”

“Fortunately, the driver escaped with minor injuries,” the spokesman said.
