A Toledo man says a tree fell on him on Hoiles Ave.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man says he was injured when a tree fell on him Thursday.

Andre Autman of Toledo told 13 Action News he had just gotten out of his car at his home on Hoiles Avenue on Thursday when a tree fell, hitting him and his car. His injuries appear to be minor, but he is in some pain. Once crews manage to remove the tree from the driveway, he plans to go to the emergency room for evaluation.

Autman said city crews were trimming trees in the area earlier this week and asked if they would do the same at his house. He was told that they would contact him in a few days, Autman reports. City crews were not on scene when the tree fell and it is unclear at this time whether any crews were working on the tree.
