Daughter arrested after mother fatally stabbed

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) – A Middletown woman has been charged with murder after her mother was stabbed to death.

The Police Department in Śródmieście reports that officers were dispatched just before midnight on October 30 to the 600 block of 14th Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found a female victim, identified as 72-year-old Minnie Lewis, suffering from multiple stab wounds inside the home. She was transported to a local hospital where she later died.

Police identified the suspect as 44-year-old Mekeshia Lattimore, who is the victim’s daughter.

Lattimore was arrested and charged with murder.
