FHP is investigating a fatal crash in Escambia County

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL (WALA) – The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a two-vehicle crash on North W Street that killed a 34-year-old Pensacola man Thursday morning.

FHP said a sedan driving alongside the victim veered into the center lane and collided with a pickup truck on North W Street near Truman Avenue around 11:37 a.m.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old man also from Pensacola, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, FHP said.
