3-year-old adult injured in Washington Heights apartment fire on Halloween night

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (WABC) — Two people, including a 3-year-old child, were injured in an apartment fire in Washington Heights.

The fire broke out on the sixth floor of a Fort Washington Avenue apartment building just after 11:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The toddler was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia in stable condition.

The 65-year-old was taken to a hospital in Harlem, and his condition is also stable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
