Witnesses observed law enforcement covering the street and agents in protective suits removing bags of items and equipment from the scene.

The operation is part of a recent trend of increased drug enforcement efforts by various agencies in Houston.

“I had no idea that people even lived in this house. I certainly didn’t know they were doing drugs there,” Drake said. She mentioned that the house was rented and she didn’t see anyone coming and going.

Details about items seized during the arrest and the scope of the investigation remain limited.

Further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
