Grizzlies provide health updates on 4 key players

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Grizzlies provided an update on four injured players on Friday afternoon.

Desmond Bane suffered a right oblique injury during the third quarter of the Grizzlies’ game against the Nets on Wednesday.

Bane is considered weekly.

Marcus Smart suffered a sprained right ankle in the first quarter of the same game.

Smart is also considered week to week.

Meanwhile, Cam Spencer continues his rehabilitation after spraining his right ankle and also suffered from a stress reaction in his talus.

Spencer will be re-evaluated in about three weeks.

Vince Williams is also rehabbing from an injury. It is expected to return in two to four weeks following a stress reaction in the left tibia.
