A man was charged after a hit-and-run with a stolen vehicle

Maine (WABI) – Authorities say a 21-year-old man faces charges in connection with a hit-and-run in Glenburn with a stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday morning, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident on Broadway.

A short time later, they say the vehicle was abandoned in Bangor.

They say it was stolen from Alton Tannery Road in Hudson.

The sheriff’s office says Andrew Wright fled the vehicle with a guitar and a speaker and was later found near the Hope House in Bangor holding only the guitar.

They say Wright admitted to selling the speaker for drugs.

Wright is charged with theft and failure to stop and provide information during a car accident.
