A Dodgers fan was hospitalized after falling from a roof during World Series celebrations

The man was seriously injured after falling from the third floor of the building Dodgers celebration on Friday downtown LA.

The incident occurred at 8th and Flower streets around 1:30 p.m World Series Parade and Celebration he stated.

Photos from SkyFOX showed dozens of people surrounding the man lying on the ground. Several people also quickly stepped in to help. The ambulance arrived and took the man to hospital. His condition is unknown, but he probably suffered a head injury.

Pricialla Flaherty saw the man after he fell. That’s when she said she noticed a little boy screaming.

“Everyone started screaming and then I heard my son screaming, ‘That’s my dad, don’t go near him,'” Flaherty said.

Los Angeles Police told FOX 11 the man “was involved in graffiti activity.” Flaherty said her son told her that when he fell, his dad went to mark something.

Tens of thousands of Dodger fans gathered in Los Angeles on Friday morning to watch parade and celebrate the team’s eighth title. The huge crowd made it difficult for paramedics to reach the scene.

Both the man and his son were taken to hospital, his condition is unknown.

Shortly after the ceremony, people were seen in the street throwing stones and bottles, and even fighting with officers. The Los Angeles Police Department ordered crowd to disperse.

Video from SkyFOX showed officers in riot gear marching along the parade route.

According to the LAPD, an area near Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard was briefly closed after officers detained a person in the crowd for throwing a bottle at law enforcement.
