The “Voices of Altoona” concert will take place on November 14 | News, sports, work

Over 100 singers will perform in the “Voices of Altoona” concert, which will take place on Thursday, November 14 in the Altoona Area High School auditorium, starting at 19:00

The high school and middle school will be represented by the Altoona Area High School Vocal Ensemble and the Altoona Area Middle School Vocal Ensemble, respectively.

Additionally, all eight elementary schools in the Altoona Area School District will be represented by fourth- and fifth-grade members of the All City Chorus.

The evening will begin with a performance by the AAHS vocal ensemble, directed by Kelly Sipes, who will sing three songs, including “Take on Me.”

The AAJHS vocal ensemble, directed by Jessica Connell, will perform three songs, including “Don’t Give Up on Me.”

Kristin delGiudice will lead the All City Chorus, where students will sing a variety of songs, including “Grand Old Flag” by George M. Cohan and “Whisper” by Greg Gilpin, as well as other popular songs.

Finally, all 100+ singers will join forces to perform an energetic rendition of Pink Zebra’s “Walk Through Life.”

Tickets are $3 and will be sold at the door from 6 p.m. Children up to 5 years old have free admission.
