Police said the accident occurred at Chamalu Morh near Chassana and the victims are believed to belong to the same family. They said a private car was heading to Chassana from Reasi when its driver lost control of the vehicle, they said, adding that local volunteers found three passengers dead on the spot.

Authorities added that three people with injuries were taken to hospital.
