In an extraordinary show of compassion, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stopped his convoy to help a seriously injured person on the BKC Bridge while traveling from Mumbai to Thane. The incident took place late on the night of November 1, after a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Varsha Bangalow. As CM Shinde’s vehicle was approaching the bridge, he noticed an injured man lying on the road and a motorcycle nearby, indicating that he was involved in an accident.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, CM Shinde immediately ordered his convoy to stop and came out to assess the scene. After reaching the injured youth, the Prime Minister learned that the man had sustained injuries as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Without hesitation, Shinde summoned the team of doctors accompanying him. They immediately provided the victim with first aid and arranged for his transport to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

This uplifting act attracted a lot of attention, especially after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) later confirmed the details and praised Shinde for his sensitivity, noting that even in the hectic pace of the election campaign, he showed genuine concern for the welfare of the injured person.
