Two 18-wheelers collide in Hinds County

HINDS CO., Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Hinds County.

Authorities tell WLBT 3 On Your Side that two 18-wheelers collided on westbound I-20 near Bolton on Saturday.

Both the drivers of the 18-wheeler and the driver of the vehicle were not injured.

However, according to authorities, a passenger in the vehicle received medical treatment at UMMC for undisclosed injuries.

The westbound lanes are closed during this time.

Drivers are advised to use alternative routes to respond quickly to emergencies.
