Portia blames Lucas for Sam’s death

General Hospital spoilers reveal that the shocking death of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) sends shockwaves throughout Port Charles.

As viewers know, Sam agreed to donate her liver to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans), but insisted that her half-brother Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) perform the surgery. This is against hospital policy, but Sam agreed to sign a waiver that would essentially allow Lucas to operate on a member of his own family.

As expected, Part of Sam’s surgery went well well, she woke up in recovery and had emotional moments with both Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

While Alexis was with Sam, things suddenly took a dangerous turn when Sam suffered a heart attack and died. Before the operation, the hospital carried out extensive tests to ensure that the risk to Sam was minimal. Therefore, at this time, the cause of Sam’s heart attack remains unclear.

At this time, news of Sam’s death is still circulating. There will be time for investigation a little later, but for now everyone must mourn. But when Sam is buried, look for her loved one to claim an explanation of why Sam suddenly died.

Alexis has already demanded that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) find out exactly what happened. Portia is known for making accusations based on her own feelings and opinions. And the easiest target for Portia will certainly be Lucas himself.

Lucas feels bad enough about what happened to Sam without Portia trying to blame him for operating on his own relative. Perhaps he shouldn’t have performed the surgery, but it was Sam who insisted. Portia should remember that she is not perfect.

In fact, Lucas’ ex-husband, Brad Cooper (Perry Shen), is blackmailing Portia for changing Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood test results. But Brad still loves Lucas and could easily marry Portia off to her her own crimes if she pushes Lucas too hard.
