One person is dead after a crash in Eau Claire County

TOWN OF OTTER CREEK, Wis. (WEAU) – One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in the town of Otter Creek.

According to the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on the S15000 block of County Road D around 4 p.m. A witness called after locating an accident on the road.

One of the drivers, 18-year-old Ryan Julson of Osseo, Wisconsin, died at the hospital. The second driver suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital.

The report shows that the vehicle crossed the center line, entered the current lane and struck another vehicle.
