One person injured in two-vehicle crash on Cordele Road in Dougherty County

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – A two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Cordele Road left one driver with minor injuries.

Dougherty County Police responded to the 2200 block of Cordele Road around 7:08 a.m

Police say the crash involved a semi-truck and a 1997 Toyota Camry, both traveling northbound.

An investigation revealed that the semi-trailer had collided with the rear of a Camry with a trailer.

According to DCPD, the trailer driver was cited for driving too carefully, while the Camry driver received tickets for driving without a tag and having no lights on the trailer.

The driver of the Camry reported minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
