Pratapgarh: Taxi driver found murdered; no vehicle

According to reports, local residents found the body early on Saturday and informed the police. Documents recovered from the scene identify the victim as Mohd Zafar, 30, from Ayodhya. Zafar’s family reported that he lived in Lucknow and worked as a taxi driver.

On Saturday morning, the body of a taxi driver was found in Pratapgarh’s Dehat Kotwali area and his vehicle disappeared from the scene, leading police to suspect that the motive was robbery. The body was sent for autopsy and the victim’s family was notified.
