Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will hold dueling rallies in Wisconsin

Nov. 1 (UPI) — Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will be just a few miles apart as they face off at rallies in Milwaukee on Friday, with the presidential election just days away.

Trump will organize his rally at the Fiserv Forum, where Republicans held their national convention this summer. The campaign states that doors will open at 4 p.m. CDT and the event will begin at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, Harris will hold a rally at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in suburban West Allis from 6 to 10 p.m. The rally will feature artists MC Lyte, Isley Brothers and Cardi B.

Wisconsin is seen as one of three must-win states in the upcoming Midwestern elections. Trump won Wisconsin — along with Michigan and Pennsylvania — in 2016, propelling him to the presidency. However, in 2020, President Joe Biden won the states by narrow margins.

Earlier on Friday, Trump will spend some time in the Michigan cities of Portage and Warren before arriving in Milwaukee. Meanwhile, Harris will be making stops in Janesville and Appleton, Wisconsin.

Although both presidential candidates are improving on Friday in Wisconsin, their comrades leave for other states where the battle was fought. Harris’ vice presidential candidate, Tim Walz, will be in Michigan, and Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, will be canvassing voters in North Carolina.
