One person is dead and two injured after a fatal car crash in Staffordshire

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision on the A34 Stone Road at around 8.15pm.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when a gray BMW station wagon and a black Renault Clio collided on the southbound road, between Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest Island.

“Unfortunately, a 21-year-old local man who was driving a BMW was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger of the BMW and the driver of the Clio were taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. “

The spokesman added: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or anyone traveling between Trentham and Monkey Forest Island at around 8.15pm last night, to contact us, particularly if they have dashcam footage. “
