On Sunday, Israel ordered an evacuation in Baalbek, Lebanon, saying it planned to strike Hezbollah targets in and around the region.

The latest evacuation call came as the Home Front Command sounded sirens along the border at regular intervals as dozens of missiles were detected crossing Lebanese territory into Israel since Sunday morning.

“You are currently in the vicinity of Hezbollah-linked facilities and assets that will be targeted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the near future,” Arabic-speaking Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said in an X post addressed to residents of Baalbek and Dourisa.

Meanwhile, approximately 35 missiles were fired from Lebanon in northern Israel. However, the IDF stated that most of the rockets fired towards the Western Galilee were intercepted and some struck open areas, causing little or no damage.

A separate launch of 25 rockets targeted the Golan Heights, with all landing in open areas, the military said.
