A man died in October as a result of a hit-and-run in Camilla

CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) – A man was killed after being hit by a car on GA-112 in Camilla on Tuesday, October 22.

According to Mitchell Coroner Robby Willis, the incident call came in to dispatch around 7:13 p.m.

Willis told WALB that the incident occurred in the area where GA-112 splits from GA-97.

Willis identified the victim as 67-year-old Willie Norris King.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

WALB reported on this in September Amos Anderson, 88, died in a crash in Pelham while cleaning his yard and the area around his house. GSP is currently in search of the perpetrator of the accident.
